HOME PURCHASING

FANNIE MAE HOME-CHOICE LOANS

ELIGIBILITY:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Low-income* and have a disability
SERVICES:
  • Low interest homeownership loans through local lender institutions

Fannie Mae provides financial products and services that make it possible for low, moderate and middle-income families to buy homes of their own. Fannie Mae began in 1969.

Money is not lent directly to homebuyers. Instead the program works with lenders to make sure they do not run out of mortgage funds, thus making it possible for people to achieve their goal of owning their own home. When you go to a lender to qualify for a home loan Fannie Mae will be in the best position, along with your realtor, to assist you in determining if Fannie Mae funding can help with purchasing a home.
