Missouri's Guide to Housing Assistance Programs

WHEN CAN I ACCESS HOUSING?

If you meet all eligibility guidelines required for the program you applied for assistance under, be sure to ask the agency representative when you can access housing. Once it is determined you qualify for housing assistance, your name may be placed on a wait list with other individuals who are qualified but are waiting for a housing opening. Length of time on a wait list will vary geographically around the state.
